TAV-607 5.0 Channel Speaker Package. TAGA Harmony, a European manufacturer of globally renowned, award-winning speakers and audio electronics, today brings its latest offering, TAV-607F, TAV-C and TAV-S, the first models of the whole new Audio-Video series. The new line is not only a remodelled design of the old series but a fresh new opening of the Audio-Video series in terms of performance and aesthetics, which will strengthen its position as speakers with one of the highest value to price ratio in the industry! Three speaker models have been included in the series: TAV-607F floor standing, TAV-C centre and TAV-S surround loudspeaker. When designing the TAV-607F and TAV-C / TAV-S, Taga’s main aim was to build aesthetically appealing speakers with a stellar sound, which would be offered in budget prices which is a hallmark of the Audio-Video series. As always Taga’s key focus was on intensive listening tests and sound recalibrations rather than on building perfect specifications on paper because music and generally sound usually resonates with emotions, feelings and passion. Consequently, it led to the origin of speakers which offer deep, perfectly controlled and defined bass, smooth and rich midrange and eye-catching, detailed and crystal clear highs as well as very open and airy soundstage.
Ultra-light polypropylene cone with elastic rubber suspension provide fast movement and smooth, rich and very natural midrange frequency response as well as generate deep, musical bass. The heavy-duty voice coil and Φ70 magnet can stand high temperatures and power inputs. The flat dust cap supports airflow and smoothens the frequency response. Factory wall mounts render ability for a quick and hassle-free installation on walls or other structures.
2nd generation TWG-I tweeter faceplate (Taga WaveGuide)
Specialized horn-like design of the tweeter’s faceplate utilizing concave diffusers assists with equal and flat dispersion of sound in and off the axis of the driver. In the newest edition the shape and depth have been redesigned to facilitate better flow of sound stream and even wider dispersion which helps to build a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Cutting down the number of components means better structural rigidity, barely perceptible distortions and resonances.
Robust and Aesthetically Appealing Cabinets – 2 nd generation TLIE-I enclosure
TLIE-I – The 2nd generation of Taga Low Interference Enclosures is made of high-quality, high-density MDF boards (F models: 12 mm walls and 21 mm for the front baffle | C&S models: 9 mm walls and 18 mm for the front baffle ) with inside braces (floorstanding models) to enhance stiffness and attenuate any unwanted resonances. The shapes are perfectly crafted not only to look wonderful and modern but mainly to lower any unwanted vibrations, diffractions or turbulences, which can affect the sound performance. New high-end enclosure damping material is used to better break up the standing waves, lower resonances and limit distortions what enhances the smoothness and characteristics of sound in all ranges. The steep enclosure (floor standing models) top is leaned at around 4 degrees from the front to the rear to eliminate unwanted resonances and turbulences.
Bass Reflex
BOM Bassreflex Omnidirectional Module – low-turbulence and high-velocity ports utilizing concave diffusers for increased dispersion of low frequencies.
Crossover
