Every Aapanam BLDC ceiling fan sold by Yash Gadget is built to last and backed by clear, customer-first policies. Here is everything you need to know.

5-Year Warranty

Each fan carries a 5-year warranty on the BLDC motor - more than twice the cover most brands offer. The warranty protects against manufacturing defects in the motor under normal household use.

  • Covers the BLDC motor against manufacturing defects.
  • Valid from the date of delivery shown on your order.
  • To raise a claim, message us on WhatsApp or email with your order number.

Replacement Policy

If a fan arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, we will replace it. Please report it within 7 days of delivery with the unit unused and in its original packaging.

  • Share a photo or short video of the issue along with your order number.
  • Approved replacements are dispatched at no extra cost.

Installation

Every fan ships with a downrod, canopy set, mounting hardware, a remote (on RF models) and an instruction manual. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician for safe, rattle-free performance.

Return & Refund Policy

Aapanam Vixa fans are sold on an advance-payment basis. Cash on delivery is not available. Every order is covered by the three protections below.

  • Damaged, defective or wrong item — we replace it free of charge. Tell us within 7 days of delivery by email, WhatsApp or a call.
  • Cancelled before dispatch — you choose a refund or an exchange. On a refund, only the payment-gateway charges (in and out) are deducted. Nothing else.
  • We cannot deliver or replace — you get a 100% refund, with no deduction at all.

Please record an unboxing video

Record one continuous video, starting while the parcel is still sealed and ending when the fan is fully unpacked. Before your parcel leaves our factory we send you a video of it being packed and sealed, so both sides have the same record.

The unboxing video is requiredfor a claim of transit damage, a wrong product, or a missing item or part — we cannot approve those claims without it. A manufacturing defect found after installation is covered by the 5-year motor warranty and needs no video.

How a replacement works

  1. 1Tell us within 7 days. Contact us within 7 days of delivery by email, WhatsApp or a phone call, with your order number.
  2. 2Send the unboxing video. One continuous video, starting while the parcel is still sealed. This is what lets us approve a transit-damage, wrong-product or missing-item claim on the spot.
  3. 3We verify and approve. Usually the same working day. You never pay the return shipping on an approved replacement.
  4. 4A new fan is dispatched. We collect the fan and send a fresh unit. If we cannot replace it, you get a 100% refund with no deduction.
